Fascinating article that links a child's ability to self regulate with her future success. Tough break Annie.  You might stick to something more creative, like little-sister-diaper-box-stuffing, or yellow-acorn-for-dad-collecting.  In all seriousness, talking about a child's executive function somehow rubs me the wrong way.  While I see the merit in teaching your child this skill, I'm not sure it doesn't add to the current parental infatuation with super babies.
